Over the summer months the band can be seen performing at over 20 events including the world PipeBand championships at Glasgow Green, the Glamis transport extravaganza and various highland games and agricultural shows across the Northeast of Scotland.

At these venues spectators from across the world can be found, many of whom have come specifically to see the pipe bands. The major pipe band Championships, of which there are 5, typically attract upwards of 30,000 visitors in addition to the 5,000 competing band members. At these events through sponsoring the band, the possibility exists to promote your company to a large captive audience.

To help in the development of the Pipe band, it has been decided to seek sponsorship.

We have the enthusiasm, commitment and skills to continue, but to do this requires funding, the cost of kitting out a single piper or drummer is currently approximately £900 which does not including the expenses of running the band on a day to day basis. Although we have a dedicated body of individuals who work tirelessly organising raffles, bingo etc raising funds, the majority of these people are also playing members of the band. This obviously detracts from practice time, a thing that all musicians must have if they are to continue to improve.

Additionally we can undertake promotional work for your organisation at a wide variety of events such as staff presentations, awards ceremonies, corporate evenings, product launches etc. What better attraction at a public marketing venture than your own Pipe band, full of enthusiastic members to leave your customers with a lasting memory, a coup for any marketing executive.

This is why we are seeking your assistance. We know that with the support of a solid financial base, we can again strive to add our name to a World Championship Trophy.
